As of Friday evening (20th March) all Masses and public acts of worship are suspended until further notice.
In these circumstances the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days is removed.
St Helen’s church will be open for private prayer between the hours of 10am and 2pm every day. Please observe recommended standards of hygiene and social distancing. It may be wise to use hand sanitiser before entering, and after leaving the building.
More information will be available (and posted here) as the situation progresses.

Little Church at St Joseph’s Church was founded by Margaret Ferrari more than 10 years ago. From small beginnings it has become an important and vibrant part of the parish. The Children’s Liturgy takes place at the beginning of Sunday morning mass week, and has a “Tiny Church” section for the under 5s too.
For more information about Little Church please come to Church just before 11.00am Sunday mass or email.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Today we celebrate Sunday Mass on Saturday evening at 6.30pm and on Sunday morning at 11.00am.
At the Sunday morning Mass there is "Little Church"; children are invited to hear the Word of God in a way that is more suitable for them - it sounds lively and fun!
During the week, we usually celebrate Mass on Monday and Friday at 9.30am, but it is always best to check the Newsletter first.
You will find Saint Joseph's has room for you, and we hope that this website will provide answers to most of your questions.
Thank you for visiting and please tell your friends about us !
If you have any ideas for the website, please email.
